For me I like the 15K studded best.
Lately I'm starting to like the tight fit of Frostbound, its really hard not to go and buy it. But I gotta be strong since Ch2 is around the corner and more armor is coming.

15k drake, Black
This has to be the best looking armour i have come across and its mine, ALL MINE. oh and also, all you people with enough money for FOW,try this very cool combination for male rangers. Collectors trench coat, collectors leggings, FOW boots, and FOW arms, all dyed black, it look pretty cool, plus you get the bonus of druid fow arms and boots and keep you from not looking like a goon. P.s i hate full ranger fow, looks lame

For the record, I've been using drakescale almost constantly since I got the game last year when it was released. 15k drakescale is the best looking armor for rangers IMO.
And I agree, everyone and their grandmother uses druid's like it's the second coming. They've gotten so used to the +7 energy that they don't seem to know how to play with only 25.

Even though its just a small bonus, its still a bonus nevertheless.

heh, well to be honest, at least its not as bad as GALDIATORS ARMOUR FTW! (even tho all our attacks use adrenaline!) i was recently doing a VIM trapping team, you know "VIM trapper lf VIM" some goon came up to me and started saying "RoFL! you total!!1 noob!, u will never get a group without druids lolums!!!11!!!1!" - Simply reply with "just because ur too shit to use armour without a bonus maybe?, hmm why do u think i carry around a staff for vim,, hmmmm hmmm, i wonder why" anyway in conclusion, guild wars should be about how awsome your character looks, its so much more satisfying to rape someone with your *slightly less* better bonus armour, and look good while doing it - P.s Legeon so true, and never give into the *minor* energy bonus

Not true. You are given blue dye, but you may remove that dye if you desire by using a dye remover.

I suppose I could get FoW but I don't really like how it looks to be honest.
Oh and by the way, 15k drakescale (female) owns all others in the looks department. You know it, I know it.
Oh how I love it when she holds an arrow...so badass. *wipes drool* :P
